I have a confession. I’m not a natural blonde. I know, I had you all fooled. But in all seriousness, I have an addiction. Obsessive Compulsive Bleaching Disorder. I’m not exactly sure how this obsession began. Well maybe it’s my way of pretending I have no gray hairs peaking through. Obviously bleaching is not the healthiest for the hair, so I try to do whatever I can to keep my hair healthy, shiny and strong. I’m currently using two of the Oribe repair products also known as my solution to my OCBD (Obsessive Compulsive Bleaching Disorder).

The Gold Lust Pre-Shampoo Intensive Treatment not only protects hair from damage caused by regular bleaching, washing and styling it intensely hydrates and nourishes dry strands and repairs existing damage while reducing future breakage and split ends. You work the product through the hair, beginning at the ends and working your way up the strands to the roots. I put the product on in the morning before a workout, running errands, or if I’m just around the house. Let it sit for a few hours then rinse. Follow with shampoo and conditioner. EASY PEASY. You can actually get things done while your hair is healing. Win win for you multi-taskers out there.

The Oribe Power Drops Damage Repair Booster is also a favorite of mine. Formulated with linoleic acid, biotin and sea kelp extract, just a few drops repairs and strengthens the strands. I mix 3-5 drops into my conditioner, lather on and rinse after a couple minutes or to any Oribe styling product by simply just work the product through damp hair to give your regular routine a boost.  Oh and did I mention, how amazing it smells!!

So for those of you out there suffering from OCBD here’s your remedy. Happy bleaching!
